Inserts,
Doublers and Liners, Oh My??? Do these
words leave your head spinning in confusion? Quite simply, an Insert
is something that can be "stuffed" into something else. For
example you can use a Mother of Eden Insert, a Joey Bunz or a prefold
to stuff your Fuzzi Bunz. Some inserts can be used on their own in a
wrap. (It is recommended not to put MOE Inserts next to baby skins as
it can suck up their natural skin moisture.) A Doubler
is an extra piece of fabric that you lay over a prefold or other diaper.
There are two types. One has a stay dry over layer and the other is
just terry. A Liner is
a thin piece of fabric or rice paper that catches the poop or keeps
baby dry (depending on the brand and purpose) some are resuable others
are flushable.

Doublers &
Stay Dry Doublers
Diaper Doublers give baby a little added protection at night.
They are used in conjunction with either a prefold or an insert. Both
items are placed in the pocket or over a prefold to give longer protection
at night. These can be machine washed and dried. Stay
dry doublers are the same as regular doublers, but one side has stay dry
fleece. Price:$2.00 or $2.50 for stay dry.

Fuzzi
Bunz Inserts
Fuzzi Bunz Micro-inserts are made from 3 layers of micro-fiber
terry cloth. Fiber content of this material is a poly/rayon blend. Micro-inserts
do away with any bulk that may have been associated with cloth diapers.
Micro-insets make Fuzzi Bunz super absorbent and super trim at the same

Joey
Bunz
These hemp made inserts were designed with Fuzzi Bunz
in mind. The sizes match up with the various Fuzzi Bunz sizes.
They make they Fuzzi Bunz extremely slender yet very absorbent (the
best of both worlds). These inserts are great to use when going
out or for nighttime. Hemp is naturally more absorbent than cotton
great for heavy wetters.

Liners
Speaking of sticky poop...liners can be used between
the diaper and the baby's skin, letting moisture pass through to the
diaper but keeping the baby's skin dry. These bio-degradable flushable
liners are paper-based. They come in 100 or 200 sheets in the baby size
and 100 sheets in the toddler size. 100 sheets: $5.95; 200 sheets for

Stay
Dry Liner
If using another type of diapering system other than a stay dry pocket
system you may want to consider Fleece Stay Dry Liners. These single
layer fleece liners line any diaper (fitted, all in one or prefolds)
and aid in keeping wetness from baby's most exposed areas. These liners
also will help keep your cotton or hemp from staining and provide for
easier clean up with yucky messes.

Double
Doodies
Is it a miraculous one wipe wonder? Or is it a diaper doubler? Well...it's
both! Our double ply micro-terry wipes / doublers can be used in the diaper
changing area interchangeably. Use them in the tub as wash cloths, use
for really messy clean ups or use as a diaper doubler when one is needed.
