Special Alert: We have had several concerned customers inquire about the safety of the toys we sell. The recent lead and other toxins being shipped from China has many of us concerned for our safety and the safety of our children. Several of the manufacturing plants in the recalls were aware that there was lead in the paint, but hoped it was small enough amounts that it would pass USA tests and quality control. Here is a breakdown of the different lines we sell to the best of our knowledge. Plan Toys: Made from Rubberwood in Thailand. Plan Toys is a Thai company and is very dedicated to environmental concerns and safety of their products. They have provided me with a toy by toy check of safety and lead levels. The document is huge or I would post it here. If you want more info on any specific item, feel free to contact us. Haba Toys: Haba wooden toys are made from Birch and Maple Trees grown in Germany and are still produce in Germany. Their cloth toys are made in China, but are tested for certainty that they are up to Haba's quality levels that it has stood behind since 1938. HaPe, the US distributor safety letter. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further or specific questions. We are here to help our customers buy quality and safe toys for their children, friends and grandchildren.
You may notice a lot of different toys for sale on our site. We want to remind parents that this does not mean that your child needs all of them or even a whole collection in any set. Rather, we offer a large assortment of toys so that you can hewn in on your child's interests and talents. All toys are not equal, not even wooden ones. You may also notice that we are very proud to tell you the brand of each toy we sell. Next time you get a catalog or shop online, check to see if those businesses are proud too. The names we chose represent quality. We are very picky about our toys. The last thing any parent wants is to pay money for a toy that breaks right away, especially if it is your child's favorite. On the other hand, we frequently hear of customers who recognize the Haba name because a toy has been passed down through generations.
View the entire line at www.haba.de Most of the items on these pages are kept in-stock. If there are any toys you are looking for that you do not find here, e-mail us at: kfield@littleants.com and we would be happy to order/price them for you.
